Think of it as the best health insurance you could give yourself.


After applying the nutritional protocols that I use in this program, clients notice that:

  • Their mouth is less sore and doesn’t bleed (those that came to me with gum issues).
  • If they had bloating in their gut, it’s reduced.
  • Diarrhea or constipation is no longer a problem.
  • They think more clearly and can focus more easily.
  • Achy joints resolve; gout becomes less of a problem.
  • They have less cravings for carbs and snacks.
  • Sleep is more restful and invigorating.
  • Finally, they always lose excess weight and have more energy.


Throughout this program, I will teach you how to improve both your gut health and your immune system. As a result, you will become healthier, more energetic, and more self-confident. You will gain metabolic flexibility.


It may sound like a tall order, but these improvements are simply a matter of making the right choices around the four pillars of health, which are:

  1. Healthy diet
  2. Restorative sleep
  3. Stress reduction
  4. Efficient exercise


The program is based on my books, Crazy-Good Living, Better Belly Blueprint, and Is Your Gut Killing You?, as well as the concepts of Primal Nutrition & Primal Lifestyle. It’s also how I went from a cancer diagnosis with 3-6 months to live in September 2018, to a trip to a hospice hospital in August 2019 to die, and then to thriving and “cancer-free on my most recent PET Scan” in May 2020. I’m enjoying my retirement with my wife. In short, it’s a customized journey towards total body wellness and immune system strength.


That means my first order of business is to learn about your needs and your current lifestyle. We will first have a free 30-minute consultation. If we’re a good fit, I’ll send you a questionnaire and a 3-Day food journal, followed by another 1:1 consultation where we’ll discuss my findings. I also consider dental health because an unhealthy mouth is the “elephant in the room” when it comes to chronic infections and diseases throughout the body. From there, we will begin the program.


Over the course of 12 weeks, you’ll learn:

  • Specific tactics to improve your gut health, immune system, and overall health
  • How to address any dental issues that could compromise your immune system and wellness
  • How to make the right choices about the foods you eat
  • How to have restful sleep
  • How to control the stresses of everyday life
  • How to physically work your body to regain and retain your vigor


Summary of 12 Weeks

I make the program easy, simple, and doable. Baby steps, and one at a time. We’ll cover the four pillars of health over the 12 weeks of coaching. To start, there will be a 1.5 hour Zoom Coaching for me to review all your data and start the program customized for you. You will always have access to me by email. Even additional Zoom chats are available if necessary. In addition, along the way I will send reading and reference material. Below is how the program is broken down:


Weeks 1-4: 

  • Review your questionnaire and 3-Day Food Journal
  • Review any dental x-rays you send
  • Discuss the concepts of a nutrient-dense, anti-inflammatory way of eating and explain how to transition to this way of eating from your current eating style
  • Provide links to my original recipes, review nutritional products for your health, discuss shopping for your new eating blueprint
  • Provide a form to begin documenting your body temperature and weight as well as your waist and hip measurements, which you will record every 4 weeks
  • Explain the changes in your body that you may observe over the 12 weeks
  • Communicate with continuous personal emails
  • Discuss any lab tests that might be beneficial
  • Answer all your questions


Week 5-8:

  • A thorough review of the previous 4 weeks
  • Discuss all the details of your new way of eating and any concerns you may have; tweak areas that may require changes
  • Explain the importance of restorative sleep, efficient exercise, and stress reduction.
  • Record your body measurements starting week 5
  • Answer all your questions


Weeks 9-12:

  • A thorough review of the previous 8 weeks
  • Discuss lifestyle changes like intermittent fasting, reading nutrition and ingredient labels
  • Take new body measurements starting week 9
  • Discuss my 5 Important Tools for a Robust Immune System
  • Record new 3-Day Food Journal at end of week 12
  • Answer all your questions
  • Discuss organ meats, herbs & spices, bone broth, Vitamin D and sunlight, and over-the-counter supplements (are they good? are they bad? which ones should you take?)


Summary Zoom after Week 12:

  • Review all 12 weeks
  • Discuss eating out and eating at friends’ homes
  • Discuss the percentage of animal-based foods and plant-based foods in your Better Belly Blueprint way of eating
  • Discuss all issues affecting chronic inflammation and the health of your immune system
  • Review any dental issues and how they have been resolved
  • Take new body measurements for the end of week 12
  • Review comparisons between Food Journal from the start of the coaching program to the end of the coaching program
  • Discuss any lab tests that might be beneficial
  • Answer all your questions
  • We can also discuss extending your program if you’d like some additional support


Now that you know what is good and what is harmful to your body, you will be able to make healthy choices in any situation you might find yourself. Your next step is to share your new knowledge with everyone you love and care about.


To start the program:


  • You’ll fill out and submit 1 questionnaire (broken into 2 for technical reasons) about your current health and health history as well as a 3-Day food journal. All the pieces are extremely important (I explain why in a brief video below). You’ll also schedule your 1:1 consultation and submit your payment.
  • If you have dental x-rays for me to review, you can send them to my email address at al@drdanenberg.com. (Dental x-rays can be important because any potential infections in the mouth and jawbone could affect your gut health, your immune system, and your overall wellbeing.)
  • We’ll meet over Zoom for our first 1.5 hour 1:1 consultation. We’ll discuss what I see from all your data, and you can ask me whatever questions you have.
  • I’ll then help guide you through a customized way of eating as well as protocols to support the health of your gut, your immune system, and the rest of your body. I will make dental suggestions as necessary.
  • Please note: I cannot diagnose any disease over the Internet. However, I can help direct you to other healthcare professionals for in-office evaluation if required.

This program is a 12-week commitment, at least. As mentioned, we can definitely discuss extending it if you are interested.


Additionally, I ask that you commit to the following:

  1. Follow-up emails to check on how you are doing
  2. A written testimonial of your experience working with Dr. Al to be published online after you complete the program
  3. A video testimonial of your experience working with Dr. Al to be published online (Not required but would be greatly appreciated)
  4. Permission for your data to be used anonymously in a case study to be published online.
