Joe Condora, Jr. and Amber Lowry interviewed me for their podcast, Primal Example Podcast.
Primal Example has a vision to combine ancestral health with modern advancements. Their podcasts strive to provide their listeners with evidence based ancestral health techniques to promote optimal health.
Both Joe and Amber believe that by combining the nutrition, rest, bonding, and movement patterns of our primal ancestors with modern day advancements, we can achieve optimal gene expression, prevent or reverse disease, and live a vibrant life. Primal Example shies away from a dogmatic, one-size-fits-all health approach and instead promotes an individualistic health approach that can be implemented by anyone at any stage of his or her lifelong health journey.
In the interview, Joe, Amber, and I talked about what brought me to where I am today. Their interview style was refreshing because I didn’t know in advance what they were going to talk about. I loved the challenge and enjoyed their passion.
Unfortunately, I misspoke in the recording. I mentioned the word “folate” when I referred to the oral bacteria on the tongue and the eventual production of nitric oxide. I meant to say, “nitrate” instead of “folate.” My error! Sorry.
We recorded the interview several weeks ago, but the podcast was published on Monday, July 3, 2017. The interview is titled, Oral Myth Busting.
